Membership Information
Welcome! The Cutchi Muslim Association (CMA) invites Muslims of Cutchi heritage residing within 15 mile radius ofBlackburn, UK to join as members and be part of our vibrant community. Membership is only open to individuals of Cutchi origin who are 18 years of age or older living within a radius of 15 miles of Blackburn, UK.
💳 Membership Fees
- £30 per family unit (includes husband, wife, and children under 18).
- Males aged 18 and over must register and pay their own membership fee.
- Females over 18 years of age are exempt from membership fees but need to complete membership application form
- Widows and Pensioners are exempt from membership fees but need to complete membership application form
- Children under the age of 18 years are exempt from membership fees

🔐 Voting Rights & Committee Eligibility
- Associate Membership does not include voting rights or eligibility to stand in CMA's election process for the Management Committee or the Board of Trustees.
- Voting rights are exclusively granted to CMA Standard membership members who have paid their membership fees and actively participated in CMA activities—such as niaz, events, and volunteering—for at least 10 consecutive years and live within a 15 mile radius of Blackburn, UK.
- Eligible individuals who meet voting eligibility criteria and have paid membership fees will receive an invitation to the Annual General Meeting.
- Associate members will receive invitations to community events organised by CMA.
- £30.00 membership fees is valid for only one year.
- All Cutchis who meet eligibility criteria and are approved to become members of the Cutchi Muslim Association will be registered as standard members.
- All others who do not meet the eligibility criteria will be registered as associate members.
- We will confirm membership status by return email on receipt of application form and payment.
- If an application is not accepted, CMA will refund membership fee paid at the time of making the application.
- However, please note that if a member cancels their approved membership during the one year term, CMA will not refund any fees paid.
⚖️ CMA Committee Discretion
- The CMA Management Committee and Board of Trustees retain the unconditional right to approve or decline membership or voting privileges.
- Decisions are final and made at the committee's discretion—no explanation will be provided
